Scott Krischock is a special counsel in the insurance team at Colin Biggers & Paisley.

Scott's practice focuses on professional indemnity claims, particularly in relation to lawyers. However his experience extends to managing claims involving a range of professionals, such as auditors and accountants, financial advisors and construction professionals. He has provided coverage advice to leading Australian and global insurers, underwriters and underwriting agencies.

Scott has acted in a number of major matters including, defending auditors of a failed managed investment scheme, acting for stockbrokers sued over alleged misleading conduct, and defending Supreme Court proceedings brought against architects. He has conducted litigation in the Supreme Court and Federal Court, appeals to the Court of Appeal and High Court of Australia, as well as international arbitrations.

Having practised at the Victorian Bar prior to joining Colin Biggers & Paisley, Scott has a developed a wide perspective of the litigation process, and has gained extensive experience in both insurance and commercial litigation.

Scott was admitted as a solicitor in South Australia in 1993 and Victoria in 1995. Alongside his Bachelor of Science, Scott has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours).

Scott joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2019.
