Rebecca is a partner in the property and development team. She has 20 years' experience in property law and is recognised by the Queensland Law Society as an accredited specialist.
Rebecca has extensive experience in the acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial, retail and residential property, due diligence, joint ventures and leasing. She also advises on commercial and retail greenfield developments and refurbishments, strata titling and flat land subdivisions, as well as body corporate matters, including general advice, management rights and disputes.
Rebecca has acted for a broad range of clients, including property developers, corporations, landlords, tenants, private investors, property fund managers, building and shopping centre owners. She has also acted for educational organisations, churches and charities.
Rebecca is a committee member for Queensland for the Property Council of Australia (Residential). She presents regularly at professional development seminars.
Rebecca has been consistently listed in the 2017-2023 editions of The Best Lawyers in Australia in the field of real property law. In the 2020-2023 editions, she was listed for leasing law. In addition, she was recognised in the 2020 and 2022 edition of Doyle's Guide as a recommended property and real estate lawyer, as well as a Leading Leasing Lawyer in 2022.
Rebecca is admitted to practice in Queensland and England and Wales.
