A partner since 2016, Kate is practice leader of the banking and financial services team and holds a leadership role across the service delivery of our broader commercial offering to clients. She has expertise in banking and finance law with an emphasis on corporate and construction finance. Kate primarily acts for international and Australian banks and corporate borrowers.
Kate's practice primarily focuses in the area of debt finance including advising on limited recourse financing, acquisition and construction financing, corporate and syndicated financing with particular expertise in the hotel, residential and commercial property industries.
She has also acted on a number of insolvency work-outs and has a keen focus in the area of distressed debt trading.
Kate was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2006, and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in addition to her law degree.
