Karen Lo

Karen Lo is a special counsel in the construction and engineering team.

Her main area of practice is in dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, expert determination and litigation. She also assists with advice on contractual interpretation, contractual compliance, contract administration and contract claims, and on disputes for building and infrastructure projects around Australia.

Her expertise extends to all matters related to the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 1999 (NSW) (SOP Act).

She has experience appearing in the Supreme, District and local courts, and the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal (formerly known as the Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Tribunal).

Karen is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia.

Karen was admitted as a solicitor in 2013. She joined the legal practice in 2011.
