Jacky is a senior associate working in Colin Biggers & Paisley's insurance practice.
Jacky has extensive experience in advising and acting in the defence of general liability, professional indemnity and property damage claims across a spectrum of industries in various Australian jurisdictions.
He has taken a particular interest in matters involving complex indemnity, liability and causation issues. Jacky's practice extends to coverage and defence of claims, inquiries and investigations in the context of both statutory and general lines of insurance. He has acted for some of Australia's largest ancillary health providers and building subcontractors.
His recent work includes:
- Acting for a large ancillary health services provider in defence of class action proceedings commenced in the Supreme Court of Victoria;
- Advising and acting for Insurers on complex coverage disputes;
- Acting for scaffolding companies, commercial developers and surveyors;
- Advise and defence of high quantum third party commercial property damage claims relating to significant weather events;
Jacky holds a combined Commerce/Law degree from the University of New South Wales and is admitted to practice in Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2019.
