Alicia Taylor is a senior associate in the insurance team. 

Alicia's practice focuses on dispute resolution, conduct and compliance matters. She has experience in managing end-to-end claims on a range of legal issues, including personal injury, litigated and unlitigated child abuse matters across a range of courts, civil wrongs, privacy and matters affecting non-profits and religious institutions.  

Alicia has in-depth knowledge of governance and compliance issues arising from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and practices at non-government organisations. She assists her religious and community services clients with issues and responses to the National Redress Scheme and requests from authorities, to develop governance and compliance frameworks, and with reviewing and implementing child abuse and safety policies compliant with regulatory requirements. 

Alicia holds a Master of Laws and was admitted to practice in December 2014. She is a member of a number of associations, including Victorian Women Lawyers and the Victorian Association for Dispute Resolution. She is a Nationally Accredited Mediator through the Resolution Institute, and holds a certificate for Conflict Resolution and Dispute Avoidance from the Australian Commercial Disputes Centre.

Alicia joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2019.
