Colin Biggers & Paisley is pleased to announce the appointment of senior associate Madonna Galeano to its employment and safety team in Brisbane.

Madonna has over seven years' experience in employment law and industrial relations, providing advice and conducting litigation in relation to all facets of the employment lifecycle. Madonna has both private practice experience having worked for a large independent firm and a boutique employment law and workplace relations firm, before working as an employee relations specialist for a major mining services provider.

Employment and safety partner Megan Kavanagh said that Madonna's broad and diverse experience will be of great value to the employment and safety team's capabilities. "Madonna not only has extensive knowledge of the Australian industrial relations framework, her work within the corporate sector and private practice gives her a deeper understanding of client relationships and the importance of providing realistic and commercial advice. We are delighted to welcome her to the team."

Colin Biggers & Paisley's employment and safety team has a solid reputation as a trusted adviser to employers across a range of sectors and industries.

"I am thrilled to be joining a national team and to have the opportunity to work with such a broad range of clients," said Madonna. "I look forward to assisting them to navigate all aspects of employment issues they face."

Madonna's appointment follows the recent announcement of the appointments of senior associate Azat Valiyff and special counsel April Campbell to the practice's insurance team, and senior associate Stephen Webb to the property and development team.
