Schools should understand the type of misconduct they must investigate and respond to in order to comply with mandatory reporting and other regulatory obligations, such as reportable conduct.
A robust Code of Conduct is an excellent way to identify, investigate and resolve misconduct amongst staff. Schools are encouraged to educate their workforce on the content of the Code and use the Code to support all disciplinary processes.
