Experienced legal technologist Rebecca Phillips has joined Colin Biggers & Paisley as the new Digital Transformation Manager as the practice works towards implementing its ambitious innovation plans over the next few years.
Rebecca, who moved across from Hall & Wilcox earlier this month, said she's excited to be joining the practice on the cusp of its digital transformation.
"I've stepped into this new role with excitement and anticipation to hit the ground running, with a number of large projects ahead that will see the practice thrive in the tech space and give Colin Biggers & Paisley a real competitive edge in the market," Rebecca said.
"There is a real focus on process-simplification and increasing the efficiency of our operations - whether that be developing automated workflows to free up our people, working to develop mobility apps to streamline processes for clients, expanding our digital capabilities within the legal system and mining our data for results that matter. The practice is on the verge of change and I am thrilled to be able to drive that change."
Chief Information Officer Sam Sofianos, who joined the practice in 2018, says Rebecca's appointment to the role was an obvious fit, with a catalogue of upgrades and roll-outs planned across the practice's technology suite.
"Rebecca comes armed with the skillset we need to turn our plans into a reality. Technically, she has expertise across technology and process improvement and solution delivery, but what she also possesses is a keen understanding of the importance of building relationships and talking to clients to better understand their needs," Sam said.
