National legal practice Colin Biggers & Paisley is pleased to announce the appointment of senior associate Stephen Webb to its property and development team in Brisbane.

Stephen has experience in all forms of advisory and transactional work, and he has significant experience advising clients on mixed use, residential and commercial property developments. The range of clients Stephen works with includes property developers, private clients, owners corporations and bodies corporate.

Stephen will report to Rhett Oliver, National Head of Property and Development. Rhett said the team's end-to-end property development offering is in a strong growth phase across the eastern seaboard and key to that is the ability to attract top talent in the field.

"Brisbane is Australia's fastest growing capital city and while challenges remain in the property market there, it will continue to offer opportunities. Stephen is an accomplished, well-connected property development lawyer in Brisbane and we're very excited about the skills, expertise and network he brings to the team."

The Property and Development team advises some of Australia's largest private developers and corporate clients. "I am delighted to be joining a team that has such a strong reputation for its property development expertise in the market," said Stephen.

Stephen's practice encompasses property acquisitions and disposals, drafting and negotiating contracts, property due diligence, structured titling advice, off-the-plan sales and large-scale project conveyancing, and property development in all asset classes.

Stephen's appointment follows the recent announcement of special counsel, David Chong, to the practice's insurance team and the announcement in June of 11 senior promotions
