Colin Biggers & Paisley is pleased to announce the appointments of special counsel Samala Nancarrow
and senior associates Christopher Harrison
and George Williams
to its insurance practice. These three appointments are the latest in a string of insurance hires announced this year already.
Samala joins the insurance team in Melbourne. Her practice focuses on workers' compensation, public liability personal injury claims, dust diseases and historical abuse claims. Samala has extensive experience in workers' compensation claims with a thorough knowledge of the legislative framework.
Christopher joins the insurance team in Sydney. Christopher has experience in general liability, personal injury claims, disciplinary proceedings and medical negligence claims, workers' compensation, CTP damages, TPD benefit, income protection policy claims and claims arising from aviation disasters.
George joins the insurance team in Brisbane. His focus is on general liability, casualty, professional indemnity and insurance litigation. George has more than 10 years' experience advising clients including major insurers on the defence of public liability and workers' compensation personal injury claims. He also has experience managing Workplace Health and Safety Prosecutions for businesses.
Managing Partner Nick Crennan
notes that the insurance team has seen steady growth this year, with the number of insurance lawyers increasing around 15% since January, and expects this growth to continue.
