It's a place where your success is only limited by your ambition.
Colin Biggers & Paisley has taught me to think more strategically and see the big picture and the end goal with every transaction or advice.
The opportunities you are given and the people you work with is what makes Colin Biggers & Paisley special
Working flexibly has made both me and my family happier
I run a busy litigation practice and court demands mean that I need to be flexible in relation to my work arrangements
As I tried to envisage a career for myself in the law, I drew inspiration from the incredible women at all levels who I was able to work with during my graduate rotations. These women served as examples to me and have shaped my career, my vision and my enthusiasm immeasurably.
One of the things which I appreciate most about working at Colin Biggers & Paisley, which I think is perhaps different from other law firms, is that the partners for whom I work are not only great mentors and leaders in their respective areas, but they are also invested in my career and development as a lawyer.
The encouragement and opportunities that I've experienced in each team have enabled me to grow my skills and confidence as a lawyer and allowed me to feel comfortable that the team that I eventually chose to settle in was the ideal fit for my interests and skillset.
As a Graduate, I've worked for a variety of people at all stages of their career and seen different leadership styles in action. The team have invested in my training and are always happy to explain a task thoroughly.

This role has given me the opportunity to assist with matters involving vulnerable clients, including women, children, the elderly and Indigenous people. The nature of the team means I am constantly being exposed to different areas of law, and this variety has provided me with a great insight into what areas I may be interested in in the future.
